Get active at the Gump Games

The Armory Learning Arts Canter, in association with River Region Crossfit are holding the 1st annual Gump Games on January 28 from 8 am. The goal is to raise money to continue the programs of the Arts Center.

The Armory Learning Arts Center is the place to go for art-related classes in visual art and photography. It also hosts dance and gymnastics classes.

Memphis printing companies have no doubt been busy providing decorations such as banners, ribbons and posters for this fun fitness event. Decorations such as these can be used to create a festive and fun atmosphere.

Places such as the Armory Learning Arts Center are helping to train the next generation of artists. Many schools are cutting down on or eliminating arts classes completely and separate facilities are often the only places where children can learn about the joys of creating art. While they can practice art on their own, there is nothing like receiving art training from professionals. Art education is not only important for those who plan to make the art their career but trains the mind to find creative solutions to the type of problems faces in any industry.

The Gump Games will be presenting a variety of fitness programs and events during the day suitable for people of all ages. It’s a great way to learn about the programs offered by the Arts Center and to help make sure that they continue. It’s also a great way to challenge yourself and to realize what you are capable of doing fitness-wise.
