Calhoun Chamber gives Anniston professionals some options to consider

February 1, 2012 by

The Calhoun County Chamber of Commerce has a full February ahead of it with events like Youth Leadership Calhoun County, Connect @ Lunch, and Leadership Calhoun County planned.

Interestingly enough, everything starts with the Connect @ Lunch meeting February 8th at noon. In recognition of the fact that companies can’t rely exclusively on digital business cards online, this hour-long session is being promoted under the title “Website Basics for the Technologically Challenged”.

Members are being charged $10.00 with reservation and non-members can expect to pay $20.00 to reserve a spot. Given the impact of the Internet and the opportunities it presents for networking and finding clients, this is an event that Anniston professionals won’t want to miss.

Taking place the following day on the 9th, the Chamber will then be hosting another Youth Leadership Calhoun County event. Once again going from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, this is an excellent opportunity for local business owners and professionals to get involved with the development of the youth. By the same token, there will also be another Leadership Calhoun County event on the 16th of February. Also a bit of an all-day event, Leadership Calhoun County will be going from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Those who couldn’t help out last month have a chance to do so this time around.

In a nutshell, February will be an interesting month for local professionals. Whether networking, contributing to the community, or attending an informative presentation, the Calhoun County Chamber of Commerce is making things interesting for Anniston entrepreneurs.
