New restaurants to cause Alabama Shakes

Steak ‘n Shake restaurants recently announced that it will be opening two new restaurants in Hoover, just outside of Alabaster, in the timeframe of the next six months. No doubt the company is using poster printing throughout the area to let the community know of the scheduled opening of these restaurants.

According to Steak ‘n Shake’s chief operations officer for the are, Van Crawford, one of these restaurants will be located at the site previously occupied by Brother Zeke’s Heavenly Barbeque and will be opening in early December. The other restaurant will be located in the Inverness Plaza shopping center and is set to open its doors within the first three months of 2014.

Crawford has said that leases have been signed for both locations, and added that the two locations were chosen because there is a great deal of traffic that passes through each of them, and the fact that they were readily available was taken into consideration as well.

Alabaster itself was the home to the first Steak ‘n Shake restaurant in the state, which Crawford says has been very successful since opening a year ago. The two new restaurants in Hoover are to be part of further expansion in central Alabama, although towns and locations have not yet been determined.

The featured menu items of Steak ‘n Shake are its milkshakes and steak burgers, but salads and sandwiches are also served. Outlets are open for breakfast beginning at midnight and also serve a variety of late night dishes.
