The Blues swing back to Winter Park

February 19, 2014 by

The 3rd annual Blues and BBQ Festival is returning to Winter Garden this weekend. It is a popular fundraising event for the City of Winter Garden Relay for Life team and the American Cancer Society.

Guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs and/or blankets to this free event, which will feature the blues and roots music of the Daniel Heitz Band, the Selwyn Birchwood Band, and Albert Castiglia. Barbecued food from various local restaurants will be available for purchase throughout the day. This outdoor will take place during rain or shine.

This popular annual event should attract visitors from all over the area, including nearby Ocoee. In order to spread the word, organizers often invest in products from local stationery printers. These products can include flyers, posters, booklets, and brochures that can be distributed in the community in a variety of ways; they can be sent out by direct mail, displayed in public buildings, or included as newspaper inserts. All of these items are also relatively inexpensive and help to spread information quickly, which is great for charitable events such as this one.

The Blues and BBQ Festival is set to take place in downtown Winter Garden at the Plant St. Pavilion on February 22 from 4:00 – 10:00 PM. To find out more about the event, call 407-656-4155.
