Get Lucky, the 2nd annual Casino Night Extravaganza of the Florida Medical Clinic Foundation of Caring, will take place at the University of South Florida’s Marshall Student Center Ballroom on April 28 beginning at 7pm. Tickets are $100 per person. All proceeds go towards supporting local non-profit and charity organizations; the organizers of Get Lucky are hoping to raise $250,000.
The event will feature several casino games, dancing, appetizers, a full bar and plenty of time for networking. It will be a fun social event allowing you to get to know others in the community who are dedicated to helping improve the lives of those who are less fortunate. Sponsorships are available ranging in price from $1000 to $10,000. All sponsors receive ad space in the event program booklet and various perks depending on how much they are able to donate. Tampa area brochure printers will no doubt be providing the programs for this worthy event; those who attend will be pleased to have a souvenir of the night.
The Florida Medical Clinic Foundation of Caring was founded in 2005 and has raised over $1 million dollars for local charities. Their mission is “to improve the quality of life for all through mentorship, scholarship, sponsorships, awards and service.” Past organizations they have provided grants to include Lions Eye, which gave sight to seven children, Embracing Wounded Veterans, which reunited wounded soldiers with their families and Frameworks, which helps to build self esteem in girls in grades 3-8.
