Brentwood arts and culture looks forward to a busy February

A number of arts and culture events will take place in Brentwood and nearby towns throughout the month of February.

The Brentwood Senior Center will present the Golden Follies Variety Show on February 14 at 2:00 pm. The variety show features a cast of 25, all of whom are between the ages of 60 and 88. Tickets to the show are $8 for members of the senior center and $10 for non-members. The senior center can use flyer printing to promote the show.

On February 11, Gregory Taboloff, an award-winning piano player, will perform a solo show at Summerset Orchards Lodge, 770 Centennial Place. Taboloff has been playing around the world for more than 30 years. His Carnegie Hall debut earned high praise from the New York Times.

The concert begins at 7:00 pm and doors open at 6:00 pm. Tickets for the show are $10 and are available in person from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Lodge or at the door the day of the show.

Over in Antioch, the El Campanil Theater will present 2 To Fly, an aerial duo, on February 16. The show will take place at 3:00 pm. Featuring Max and JoJo Ring, otherwise known as the Ring Brothers, the performance will include clowning, dance, aerial acrobatics and partner acrobatics. Reserved seating tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for seniors over the age of 62. Tickets are $10 for those under age 17.
