Festival to unveil Stars and Stripes this month
June 8, 2013 by Mark
The Sandridge Stars and Stripes River Festival is not far away now, and will provide a fun-filled day for the entire family to come out and enjoy a number of family activities, as well as an on-the-water competition.
There will be several live concerts, as well as a fireworks showcase to conclude the event. Poster printing, banner printing, and flyer printing may have been chosen to promote this fun festival to people in this community and the surrounding communities.
During the day, families will enjoy the Stars and Stripes Regetta, the Riversport Challenge, the Riversport Adventures, the Family Festival, a Rubber Duck Race, and the Maps3 Lighting Ceremony. There will be dragon boat races, a master rowing race, and Paddle for a cure – a friendly race benefiting the Susan G. Komen of Central and Western Oklahoma.
There are a number of other events listed on the website and a large fireworks display is planned as part of the closing ceremonies. This event is suitable for people of all ages and provides families with quality time together, while enjoying the festivities. This event is sponsored by many local businesses; see the website for more details.
