Washington DC welcomes Asian Heritage street fair

February 21, 2014 by

The popular street fair, the National Asian Heritage Festival Fiesta, will be held in Washington DC during the Asian Pacific American Heritage Month.

The festival will include a variety of Asian art along with the associated culture in many of the activities. Musicians will provide live performances along with vocalists and performing artists.

Other activities include Pan-Asian cuisine presented by local restaurants and chefs. This will give attendees an opportunity to enjoy their favorite foods as well as try some new options.

A demonstration of a lion dance will take place, entertaining children of all ages. Martial arts performances will awe the audience, as well. A multi-cultural marketplace will offer traditional and authentic Asian gift items and crafts. Cultural displays will be seen throughout the festival.

Outdoor events customarily use banners to guide attendees. Banner printing is handled by qualified local printers to ensure high quality results. A banner can be placed in the parking area, the concession stands, throughout the street fair at various points of interest and at specific activities. Banners are made of sturdy vinyl so they have lasting endurance under most all conditions. The printer can make some recommendations as to the text and graphics to ensure maximum exposure.

The National Asian Heritage Festival is scheduled for May 17 on Pennsylvania Avenue between 3rd and 6th Streets. Visit the event website for more information.
