Washington DC ready to get on the run

The Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon will come to Washington next month, attracting thousands of people to the streets of the U.S. capital.

There will be a marathon, half marathon, and mini marathon. The full and half marathons will start at Constitution Ave NW near 14th St NW, while the mini marathon will begin at RFK Stadium.

The journey will present a historic experience of running through the capital of the United States while participating in the 3rd annual Rock ‘n’ Roll USA Marathon and CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield Rock ‘n’ Roll USA Half Marathon.

The courses have been revamped and a new starting line has been implemented on Constitution Avenue. In addition to the thrill of the run, the event is enhanced with the opportunity to see the White House, Washington Monument, and the Smithsonian Libraries.

Live bands will perform, along with squads of cheering spectators as the participants run by. A line concert will finish the post-race, adding more festivities to the event.

Banner printing is an important part of making arrangements for marathons. The banners are placed throughout the route to guide the runners in the correct direction, and are also often used at post-event parties to highlight specific activities and locations.

The Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon will take place in Washington DC on March 15, beginning at 7:30 am. Visit the event site for complete details.
