Expo offers health information for seniors

The 16th annual Senior Living Expo is coming up shortly in Warwick, and is a presentation of Rhode Island Prime Time and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Rhode Island.

The expo is aimed at those aged 60 and over, and is expected to feature more than 70 exhibits on a variety of topics. There will be live entertainment provided by such performers as the Swinging Ladies and pianist John Scotti, free health screenings, fitness demonstrations, and information on a number of health issues. DJ Joe Martini will be hosting ‘Remember when?’

Those providing information to seniors are set to include insurance providers, nutritionists, seniors’ residences, travel agents, and financial companies. Visitors can also bring in their prescription drugs for a review from a professional pharmacist.

Exhibitors at the expo will no doubt want to convince all of those who are planning to attend to stop at their booths. To help with this, many of the Warwick companies may decide to invest in services like sign and banner printing. A colorful banner might manage to attract more people to that booth, where they can receive the much needed information being provided.

The Senior Living Expo will be held at the Warwick Mall on April 30 from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm. Admission is free. To find out more information about the event, call Lisa at 508-588-7700.
