Show to highlight the best in fine furnishings

Those in the area looking to smarten up their homes may be interested in the 18th Fine Furnishings Show taking place in Pawtucket next weekend.

The show features American-made, handcrafted furniture for sale. It also offers accessories, works of art, crafts, and new products from established companies. The Parade of Chairs allows those attending to vote on their favorite one.

Those participating in the show also compete for various Best in Show awards, with both traditional and modern pieces given a chance to claim awards in their respective categories.

This should be the perfect opportunity to see a large number of furniture manufacturers in one place. Those who sell their items at the show are specially chosen by the organizers, allowing buyers to be confident of quality merchandise.

The show is also a chance for many people to begin thinking about holiday gift giving, or getting their home ready to receive visitors over the holidays. Several door prizes will also be awarded to lucky guests.

The show has been widely advertised in the Providence area; no doubt with products such as flyers and posters provided by local printing companies, since both items can be distributed quickly and easily.

The Fine Furnishings Show is to be held at the new location of the Pawtucket Armory Art Center from November 1 to 3. Admission is $10 per person. To learn more about what sort of items will be offered for sale, call Karla Little at 401-816-0963.
