Annual art show and sale helps to Save the Bay

The annual Art Show and Sale of Artists for the Bay is taking place in Providence this December, featuring the works of more than 45 artists

Those who attend the opening reception will enjoy food, wine, and beer and will have the opportunity to purchase works of art. Artists will be selling pieces in a variety of genres including watercolors, oils, and drawings. The reception is also expected to celebrate the upcoming holidays, and guests might find original items they wish to give as gifts to their friends and family.

A portion of the funds raised from the show will go to support Save the Bay, an organization dedicated to keeping the Narragansett Bay clean and useable to millions of yearly visitors and residents. This is just one of many events held over the year that raises funds for the organization.

It’s likely that the organizers will be marketing this event earnestly with the help from Providence printing companies. This might include investing in products such as flyers to be distributed throughout the area, or posters to be hung in public areas such as community centers and malls.

The Art Show and Sale is being held at the Save the Bay Center’s Providence Journal Charitable Foundation Gallery. The opening reception will take place on December 5 from 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm. Tickets are $30 each. To find out more about the show, contact Leanne Danielsen at 401-272-3540.
