Rhode Island chambers celebrate the summer

Understanding that summer is an ideal time for networking, the North Central Chamber of Commerce’s members are invited to two summer parties next month

The Rhode Island Chamber Block Party is taking place early in August. It will feature kayak races, a cookout, and plenty of networking opportunities. North Central Chamber of Commerce members and their families are invited to spend an afternoon on Block Island.

The party will take place at Champlin’s Hotel on Block Island on August 9 from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm. Tickets, which include ferry admission, are $30 for adults or $15.50 for children.

Later on in the month, the Women and Wine Summer Soiree will take place. It will feature wine, desserts, raffles, a souvenir wine glass, and a tour of the Nickle Creek Vineyards. It will be a great chance for female North Central Chamber of Commerce members to network with one another. Women are welcome to bring a spouse or a friend along.

The event will be taking place at the Nickel Creek Vineyards on August 13 from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm. Tickets are priced at $25.

No doubt many of those who are planning to attend either or both of these events will be placing a new business card printing order in advance. The events will be great networking opportunities for local businesspersons from all over the area, including nearby Johnston.

For more information about either of these events, contact Kelly Patz at 401-349-4674.
