Boston area stays collective as antiques show arrives

The 30th annual Greater Boston Antique and Collectible Toy Show is taking place in the very near future in Dedham, Massachusetts. The show will no doubt attract collectors from nearby communities and states.
There will be approximately 100 tables available on the day, selling a variety of antique and collectible toys from as far back as the 1800s. In short, any toy that is over 50 years old is considered to be an antique, and vendors are likely to be selling the likes of diecast vehicles, baby dolls, and board games. As the show is taking place close to the holiday season, there will also be vintage decorations and decor for sale.
Collectors often travel for miles to attend shows such as these, and this one will possibly attract visitors from communities such as Johnston in Rhode Island, which is less than an hour’s drive away. Organizers will probably be advertising the show all over the east coast and might have asked local printing companies to provide them with services such as poster or flyer printing.
The Greater Boston Antique and Collectible Toy Show is being held at the Holiday Inn in Dedham on December 8 from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm. Admission is $7 and free for those aged 12 and under. For those who want to get an early peek at the items, admission at 7:00 AM is available for $25. To find out more about the show, call 617-957-9296.
