Warminster Community Park supported by February event
January 29, 2013 by Mark
Warminster Parks and Recreation (WREC) presents an annual Wine and Cheese Basket Bingo Party for the WREC Building Fund, which helps to maintain Warminster Community Park. The evening usually features several Longaberger baskets as prizes.
The Wine and Cheese Basket Bingo Party consists of 20 bingo games with basket prizes, hors d’oeuvres, and a beer and wine bar. The event is only open to those aged 21 and over. It should be a fun evening even for those who have never considered playing bingo, as it will give them a chance to meet their neighbors and to enjoy a fun social evening.
Local businesses are being asked to donate either baskets or cash to buy baskets. It could be an excellent marketing decision for Warminster businesses to donate to this worthwhile cause, as it would show that they are involved in the community and support its fundraising endeavors. Those businesses that donate baskets or cash can let their customers know they are taking part in the bingo party through a flyer provided by a Warminster printing company. The flyer can then be mailed directly to customers or delivered door-to-door throughout Warminster. A flyer can reach a large number of people in a short time and for very little cash outlay.
The annual Wine and Cheese Basket Bingo Party will take place at Five Ponds Golf Club on February 22, beginning at 6:00 pm. Tickets are $40 in advance or $45 at the door. For more information, call 215-443-5428.
