The Sugarloaf Crafts Festival returns to Oaks

February 28, 2013 by

The annual Sugarloaf Crafts Festival is returning to Oaks this March.

The festival features over 250 artists and crafters showcasing and selling their work. All items will be one-of-a-kind offerings such as sculptures, photographs, home accessories, and fine art. It will give all of the artists and crafters a great opportunity to introduce their works to the general public, and will also allow those in the community to discover a new artist or crafter in their midst.

In addition to the art, there will be music from such acts as Jazz Lobsters, children’s entertainment, art and crafts demonstrations, and food to sample and buy. There will definitely be something to appeal to everyone in the family at this popular annual event.

No doubt some of the artists and craftspeople from across the area, including nearby Warminster, will be working with local postcard printing companies before showcasing their work. Some artists use postcards as a large-format business card, with a sample of the artwork on the front and their contact information on the back. The postcards may or may not have room for a mailing address, but the odds are people will hang onto them and will remember the artist and his or her work.

The Sugarloaf Crafts Festival is to be held at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks from March 15 – 17. Admission is $8 in advance or $10 at the gate, although children aged 12 and under are admitted free. For more information, call 1-800-210-9900.
