Holiday parade to get locals in the mood

Now less than a month away, the 52nd annual Hatboro Holiday Parade will take place along York Road, with over 10,000 spectators expected to enjoy this year’s event.
The parade will feature marching bands and organizations, car groups, animal units, and floats. Local dignitaries will also be taking part in the parade, as will such groups as the Boy Scouts and the Girl Scouts. Of course, the main event of the parade will be the arrival of Santa Claus. In all, it is expected that the parade will feature approximately 3,000 participants. It is a parade that draws people from all over the area and basically kicks off the holiday celebrations and the shopping season.
There are four levels of sponsorship available for the parade – gold, silver, bronze, and friends of the parade. The gold sponsorship costs $3,000 and allows companies to display their company banner in the parade and also display their company name on a float. No doubt those sponsors, who will likely come from all over the area, including nearby Warminster, will be working with local printing companies to prepare for the parade. A banner featuring a company name could be obtained for a reasonable price and can be used numerous times for events of this nature.
Sponsors will also be recognized in an advertisement in the Public Spirit newspaper, which is read by over 1,000 subscribers. The event itself takes place on November 18, beginning at 2:00 pm. For more information, call 215-956-9540.
