Gala to celebrate Big Brothers Big Sisters half century

October 31, 2013 by

The Evening for Kids’ Sake is to be a celebration of, and a fundraising event for, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bucks County.

The theme of this year’s event, tying in with the 50th anniversary of the group, is ‘50 years of Bond in America’. The dress code is black tie and denim and it is a 21 and over event.

The emcee for the evening will be George Spencer from NBC-10. Guests will be treated to food and drinks from more than 40 area restaurants and caterers; including a special visit from the Rockin’ Road Grill food truck. They can also enjoy music from artists like Doreen Taylor with the Cherry Lane Band and Debbie Calton. Games of chance, a silent auction, and dancing are also on the menu for the evening.

Sponsorships are available from $300 – $5,000 and local companies can also buy advertising space in the program booklets for $100 or $200. Businesses are also encouraged to donate items for the silent auction.

Warminster printing companies have probably been hired to help design and print the program booklet that everyone who attends will receive.

The Evening for Kids’ Sake will take place at The Fuge on November 15 from 7:00 pm – 11:00 pm. Tickets are $60, $75 (which includes a reserved seat), or $100 for VIP seating. VIP tickets include reserved seating, early entry, a gift and express checkout for silent auction items. For more information about the event, contact Susan Kennedy at 215-343-8260.
