ALS Hot Chocolate will take place at the Adventure Aquarium in Camden on March 8 from 6:30-9:30 pm. Tickets are $75 and $150 for VIP; this is a 21 and over event. Funds raised will go support the ALS Association, Greater Philadelphia chapter.

Guest will enjoy chocolate fountains and chocolate samples while they enjoy the amenities of the aquarium, including the shark tunnel where sharks swim overhead in a glass bottomed tank. There will also be a silent auction with donations received from local businesses. There will be a VIP reception from 6-7:30 am. It will be a private reception before the aquarium is open to the public; it will feature a raw bar and guests can experience the aquarium’s hands-on exhibits.

Sponsorships are available from $500 to $25,000. All sponsors will receive a mention in the printed program, plus other benefits depending on the level of sponsorship. Businesses from all over the Greater Philadelphia area including Warminster are encouraged to sponsor this worthy event. Printed programs and poster printing are ideal methods to promote such an event.

We seem to hear about ALS, or Lou Gehrig’s disease, occurring a lot more often these days. It’s getting to the point that everyone is being touched by it whether it is a family member, a friend, a work colleague or they know someone who has been touched by it. One person is diagnosed with the disease every 90 minutes. The Greater Philadelphia ALS Association provides help for sufferers and care gives from East Pennsylvania, Delaware and Southern New Jersey. The organization is also leading “the fight to treat and cure” this terrible disease.
