Dogs set to walk into the weekend

September 30, 2013 by

The 15th annual Paws 4 Life Dog Walk is taking place in Warminster this weekend, and is a fund raiser for Gilda’s Club Delaware Valley.

In addition to the walk, there will be food for sale, musical entertainment, an auction, and contests. A raffle will be held, with tickets priced at $10 for five. Vendors will also be selling a variety of animal-related items, and community organizations will be providing information to those who are interested.

Participants pay a fee to take part in the walk but can raise more funds by soliciting their friends, family, and co-workers for pledges.

There are many ways local business can help the event raise the most money possible. They can sponsor the event from $500 to $5,000, become a Community Sign Sponsor for $100, donate items to the auction, or invest in a vendor’s booth. Fees for booths are $50 for non-profit organizations and $100 for businesses; however, businesses who advertise the event to their customers will receive a $50 discount.

Businesses can reach their customers at the event by including a flyer in their regular mailings to customers, which can be obtained from Warminster printing companies.

The Paws 4 Life Dog Walk is taking place at Warminster Community Park on October 5 beginning at 9:00 am. Fees are $25 for each dog in advance or $30 on the day of the event. To learn more information about the proceedings, contact Beth Starrantino at 215-441-3290 x104.
