Annual Arts Fest returns to Hamburg

April 24, 2013 by

The Hamburg Arts Fest will return to the city for the third year this May. The event is presented by the Our Town Foundation.

The festival will feature arts and crafts vendors, children’s activities such as face painting, mural creation and craft tables, a silent auction, and an art raffle. The items available for auction will be on display at the Gallery of Hamburg. It will also be the location of the 2nd annual car show, which will feature classic cars and antique vehicles from 1959 through 1987, as well as a parade.

Those who wish to take part in the car show can register their vehicle for $10 in advance or $15 on the day of the event, and each entrant will receive a dash plaque and be eligible to win $100 prize for the best car in each class. There will also be a 50/50 raffle.

It is very likely that arts and crafts vendors will come from all over the area, including nearby Sinking Spring. Many of them will be working with local print companies to prepare their booths for the festival, perhaps investing in sign printing, banner printing, or postcard printing services. A banner or sign can draw more attention to the booth, while a postcard can let them display a sample of their artwork.

The 3rd annual Hamburg Arts Fest is free to visit and will take place at various locations in downtown Hamburg on May 18 from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. For more information call 610-562-3106.
