Spaghetti dinner to raise local student funds

The annual Spring-Ford Chamber Spaghetti Dinner is coming up again. It is a major fundraiser for the Chamber’s scholarship fund which helps provide higher education for four graduating high school seniors each year.

The main way of raising funds for this event is through placemat advertising. Businesses from all over the area, including Royersford where the event takes place, purchase advertising which will be viewed by everyone who buys a spaghetti dinner.

No doubt, local printing companies are happy to provide the printed placemats. The average attendance for this event is usually around 300 and every one of them will have a placemat. This means that a large number of people will be made aware of the names of the companies who have provided those placemats. This can bring a lot of business to those companies.

In addition, funds are also raised through a gift basket auction – local companies are also encouraged to donate those baskets or the funds to purchase those baskets. Local businesses can also help raise funds by letting their customers know about it and how they can get involved.

The spaghetti dinner is a way to provide university or college education for deserving graduating students but it is also a great way to enjoy a night out with family, friends, and neighbors.

The Spring-Ford Chamber Spaghetti Dinner will take place at Spring-Ford High School on March 1 from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm. For more information, call 610-489-7200.
