Showcase your arts and crafts this June
May 28, 2012 by Mark
The Skippack Summertyme Festival will take place in Skippack Village on June 9 from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. This is a free event, although some activities are ticketed.
The festival is mainly aimed towards children and will feature bounce houses, pony rides, a petting zoo, a magician, and carnival games. There will also be vendors selling their arts and crafts, along with a variety of foods.
Vendors can rent space for $115 if they are selling food or for $65 if they are offering arts and crafts. All art products sold must be handmade, one-of-a-kind pieces. The types of artists and craftspeople expected to take part in the festival include woodworkers, candle and soap makers, carvers, sketch artists, painters, potters, print makers, weavers, blacksmiths, and metal carvers. There will be something to appeal to almost anyone.
Vendors will be coming from all over the area, including nearby Royersford, to showcase and sell their artworks or food products. Local printing companies can help them to prepare for such an event by providing services such as banner printing, brochures, poster printing and even business card printing . A business card clipped on a sold work of art is a great marketing tool, as most artists have a sample of their work on their business card and the card will most likely find its way into the hands of someone else once it gets back to the home of the person who bought the artwork.
The Skippack Summertyme Festival is shaping up to be the perfect outdoor family-friendly event to celebrate summer.
