Royersford businesses set to shine on Community Day
August 29, 2013 by Mark
Royersford Community Day will take place on Main Street in just over a week’s time. This annual event is sponsored by the Royersford Business Association.
The program for this day-long event looks set to appeal to every member of the family, no matter what their age. There will be classic cars on display, a pet show and contest, live musical performances, appearances by Star Wars villains, fire department demonstrations, and food concessions. There will also be a variety of arts and crafts to sample.
Commercial and non-profit vendors will include local entrepreneurs and those with home-based businesses, such as Mary Kay and Avon. Vendors will also be providing children’s activities like moon bounces. Currently, over 70 commercial, artisan, and community organizations have been confirmed for this year’s Community Day, with more no doubt in the pipeline.
Many of the vendors planning to attend the event will probably be investing in services from Royersford printing companies, such as sign and banner printing. A colorful banner can be hung over a booth to bring more attention to it and help to increase sales or at least encourage more people to stop. Organizers might also be interested in purchasing banners to recognize those local businesses and association members behind the event.
The Royersford Community Day celebration will take place on September 7 from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm. To learn more about all of the day’s activities and what to expect, contact Connie Lawson at 610-324-8857.
