Popular craft festival returns to Montgomery County

The 6th Sugarloaf Crafts Festival is returning to the Philadelphia area for three days this March. The popular event attracts approximately 175,000 visitors each year.

More than 250 art and craft specialists are expected to participate in this year’s festival. As usual, they will be selling such items as handmade jewelry, ceramics, art works, and clothing. There are also going to be live demonstrations of skills like papermaking, copper spinning, and pottery creation. In addition, food will be available for purchase, and there will be several children’s activities taking place during the three days.

This will be an opportunity for local artisans to showcase their talents and for the public to find unique works of art for their homes. Many of the arts and crafters may also earn some commissions from visitors to the festival.

Visitors are expected from all over the county, including nearby Royersford. Local printing companies may help the organizers advertise the festival by providing posters or flyers to spread the world throughout the community.

The festival takes place at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks from March 14 to 16, beginning at 10:00 am each day. Admission is $8 in advance or $10 at the door, and children aged 12 and under are admitted free. To learn more about this annual event, call 800-210-9900.
