Holistic festival offers plenty next month

September 30, 2013 by

‘Manifest your Destiny: a Holistic, Spiritual and Health Festival’ is a two-day event which is taking place in Phoenixville in just a few days. A portion of the proceeds will go to Stop CAID and the Chester County Food Bank.

The event will be covering mostly alternative health and fitness. The keynote speaker will be Rob Scott. There will be a pet area, drum circles, workshops, and vendors. Workshop topics include ‘Therapeutic Yoga and Sound’, ‘Laughter Yoga’, ‘Creating Vision Boards’ and ‘Are Genetically Modified Foods Really Feeding the World?’ There will also be musical performances by such artists as the Bhakti Boys, Spirit Wing, and Coco Sol. A meet-and-greet party will take place on the evening of the first day and will feature food, drinks, dancing and the music of Telesma.

Represented vendors will include health food stores, yoga masters, and wellness providers. Many of these vendors will be coming from nearby areas such as Royersford to sell their wares or promote their services. It is possible some of them will be working with local printing companies to prepare, which might include the design and printing of banners or signs for display.

Manifest Your Destiny will take place at the Kimberton Fire Company in Phoenixville from October 12-13. The meet-and-greet party will take place on October 7 from 7:00 pm until midnight. Admission is $8 per day, $12 for the weekend, and $22 for a weekend pass including the meet-and-greet party. To find out more, visit the event website.
