Holiday shopping gets off and running at the Sugarloaf Crafts Festival

The Sugarloaf Crafts Festival will take place at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks this weekend. The festival is one of a series of Sugarloaf Craft Festivals held throughout the United States and will feature at least 250 artists and crafters from all over the country who were selected by a jury.

The selected artisans will be selling such handcrafted items as jewelry, sculptures, glass, paintings, wood, home accessories, and furniture. They will also be giving demonstrations in such arts as iron forging and papermaking. In addition, there will be children’s entertainment and gourmet food vendors.

This will be a great opportunity for those who are trying to decide on what holiday gifts to buy for their friends and family to find that perfect gift. There is likely to be something that will appeal to even the fussiest of people and it will also be a chance for those in the community to discover a new artisan who they might want to hire to create an original, handmade item for them in the future.

Artists and crafters who want to make sure their booth is noticed by visitors from all over the area, including Royersford, are probably working with local printing companies to help them prepare. Banner printing services will provide them with a suitable banner that can attract passers-by to their booth and possibly result in more sales.

The event takes place this week, November 2 – 4, and admission is $10 for adults and children under 12 are admitted free. Call 800-210-9900 to find out more.
