Enjoy a good spaghetti dinner for a good cause
March 30, 2012 by Mark
The 2012 Spaghetti Fest and Silent Auction presented by the Spring-Ford Chamber of Commerce will take place on March 30 from 5-7pm. Tickets for last year’s dinner were $7 or $5 for students and seniors; children under five were admitted free.
The event raises funds for the Chamber Scholarship Fund, which provides scholarships for graduating seniors. In addition to having a great spaghetti dinner, there will be a silent auction. Items for the silent auction are donated by Chamber members and local businesses. Donating an item to this event will definitely give a business attention in the community.
Sponsorships for the event are available for $600. Those sponsorships feature a banner displayed at the event with the company name in large letters, the company’s name listed in newspaper insert flyer ads, a product table to display their products and services, and 8 tickets for the dinner. No doubt local flyer printing companies in the Royersford and Spring-Ford area will be providing those flyers to the organizers. Sponsorships are also available to have a company’s name on the placements used at the dinner; for $100 they will have one placed at each place setting and some will be handed out before the event at local restaurants.
Higher education costs are almost out of control and it’s hard sometimes for a family to afford to send their children to college. The Chamber Scholarship Fund helps make it possible for those children with great grades to attend college or university.
