Chamber members to get Philadelphia International Flower Show preview

January 30, 2013 by

Members of the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce will have the chance to preview this year’s Philadelphia International Flower Show.

The flower show, which will take place from March 2-10, is presented by the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society. It features many appealing displays, exhibits, entertainment, special guests, informative seminars and workshops, and vendors selling horticulture-related products and services. Members of the chamber will get a special preview thanks to the Business Backstage Series; a series which allows chamber members to learn about the behind the scenes of many events. The series will also include a preview of the Philadelphia International Festival of the Arts, also in March, and the City of Philadelphia Mural Arts Program, which takes place in June.

Chamber members attending this event will receive a guided tour of the flower show, enjoy refreshments, and have the opportunity to network with their business peers at The Philadelphia Center for Architecture Arts & Business Council’s offices; members from all over the area, including nearby Royersford, will no doubt be planning to attend. It’s also likely that many of those planning to attend will be arranging for business card printing in advance, so that they have enough cards to hand out to everyone they meet during the evening.

Business Backstage: Philadelphia International Flower Show will take place at the Pennsylvania Convention Center on February 28 from 5:30 – 8:30 PM. Tickets are $50 or $150 for the entire Business Backstage series. For more information contact Catherine Sontag at 215-790-3618.
