Upcoming show will highlight alternative energy

The Tri-state Alternative Fueling Expo and Conference is taking place in Monroeville for three days this February.

The theme of the conference is “Powering America’s Future” and it will feature experts from the natural gas, propane and alternative energy industries. There will be a series of workshops, seminars, keynote speakers and live demonstrations. The event is also set to feature a job fair and plenty of opportunities for networking. Many local companies who plan to exhibit are those who sell items related to alternative energy, traditional utilities and environmentally friendly products.

Among the workshop topics are “Natural Gas Petroleum Reduction Technologies”, “Light Duty Vehicle Conversions”, “Clean Cities Facilitating Alternative Fuels” and “Can You be Profitable and Healthy?” Guests will learn about how energy is changing to include other resources and discover what the future may look like.

It is likely that this conference will attract interested companies from all over the area, including Plum. Many may plan to advertise their participation and might work with local printing companies to let those in the surrounding community know about the conference. A lot of the vendors may also invest in business card printing to ensure they will have cards to exchange or hand out to the public.

The Tri-state Alternative Fueling Expo and Conference is taking place at the Monroeville Convention Center from February 18 to 20. Admission for all three days is $99 or $49.50 for students. For the expo only admission is $25 or $12.50 for two days. To find out more about the conference call 1-800-747-5599.
