Show your wares at the Craft and Vendor Show
February 17, 2012 by Mark
The annual Craft and Vendor Show will take place at the William E. Anderson Library of Penn Hills on March 31 from 11 am-4 pm. There will be all sorts of items up for grabs including crafts, art works, baked goods, health and beauty supplies and Easter plants.
Easter is quickly approaching and if you buy gifts for your family and friends the Craft and Vendor Show is a good place to start. It is also a chance for you to share your own crafts and products with the community. In addition to the vendors tables, the show will also feature door prizes, a 50/50 raffle, a Chinese auction which is often called a silent auction and lots of food for purchase. There will also be kid’s games and of course an appearance by the Easter Bunny.
Organizers of the event are still looking for exhibitors to take part in the show. They are looking for arts and crafts vendors, food vendors, home party lines such as Pampered Chef and Avon, antique and collectible dealers and community organizations. If you have always wanted to start your own business and are crafty this might be a good way to get started. Since people from all over the area including nearby Plum will most likely be attending this show, it will be an opportunity to have your business become known throughout the area. Arranging for business card printing before the event will give you something to drop in the bag when people buy from you that will get passed on.
