Network with the Plum Chamber of Commerce

The Plum Chamber of Commerce presents Early Bird Business Builder networking meetings twice monthly. The next one will take place on December 28 at Clover Commons from 7:45-8:45 am.

The Early Bird Business Builder meetings are free for Chamber members and first-time guests. Coffee and doughnuts are served and the meetings give you the chance to network with your fellow Plum business owners. Each member in attendance gets to present a “one minute commercial” about their business. While such a presentation is usually made on a one-on-one basis rather than in front of a group, it is recommended that everyone have a so called “airplane pitch” ready for every networking event they attend. Before attending, most will also have created a new business card printing order so that they will have enough to hand out to every Plum business owner that they meet.

The Early Bird Business Builder meetings are not the only events presented by the Chamber. They also hold trade shows, leadership workshops, after-hours events and low cost advertising opportunities. In addition, they also help those who wish to start businesses in Plum and sponsor many community events.

It is always in the best interest of a business owner to join the local Chamber of Commerce. They not only get you in touch with your peers, they also have greater access to city officials and can help you to get through any red tape you might have to deal with a lot quicker than you would by yourself.
