Businesses up for showcase in Pittsburgh

The annual Neighborhood Business Expo is returning to Pittsburgh next month and is a presentation of the Chamber of Commerce, Inc.

The expo will give area businesspersons the opportunity to showcase their businesses in the community and to grow their referral networks. This is a popular event which usually draws over 140 exhibitors and 1,000 guests.

Table space can be rented for $250 for chamber members or $350 for non-members. It will give exhibitors the chance to showcase their products and services to the general public and their business peers. This expo should be especially helpful to those who have recently started a new business.

No doubt exhibitors will come from all over the area, including nearby Plum, to take part in this annual event. Many of them will likely be working with local printing companies to design and print such products as business cards, signs, and banners. Others might also arrange to create promotional items to hand out to everyone who stops by their table.

In addition to product showcases, there will also be a neighborhood block party during the evening. This will allow those taking part the chance to network with one another, to exchange business cards and to find out how they can help a fellow businessperson grow their company.

The 2013 Neighborhood Business Expo will take place at the Four Points Sheraton Pittsburgh North on March 25 from 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm, with the block party will taking place from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm. Admission is free. For more information, contact Shawn at 724-934-9700.
