Attend the 2012 Cash Bash in Plum

March 30, 2012 by

The Plum Chamber of Commerce will be holding their annual Monte Carlo Cash Bash on April 21 at Gateway Hall in Monroeville beginning at 5:30pm. Tickets are $25 and only 500 will be sold; the event is for those 21 years-of-age and over.

The ticket price includes dinner, refreshments and beer. There will be a 50/50 raffle and other prize draws. In addition, there will be games such as blackjack, roulette, and strip tickets. The event is one of the major fund raisers for the Plum Chamber of Commerce.

Many chambers of commerce hold Monte Carlo type events to raise money. They can make a nice change from the regular networking events that they hold. It is a chance for members and potential members to meet, and to have a good time without worrying about business.

However, that does not mean it can’t be used as an opportunity to hand out your business card; printing several extras before leaving for the event would be a wise thing to do. 20 or 30 business cards can easily be stuck in a jacket pocket or in a purse. When you meet someone from Plum that you would like to do business with, you can just hand them a card. The odds are they will also have a card to hand back to you. A successful business man or woman goes nowhere without a few business cards and are always looking for the opportunity to grow their referral network.
