The 4th annual Cookies 4 Chris luncheon and vendor show is taking place this weekend. A fundraising event for the Chris4Life Colon Cancer Foundation, it will be emceed by Shelley Duffy from radio station 100.7.

In addition to lunch, there is to be a raffle for a dream vacation, Chinese and silent auctions, and door prizes. One of the most popular parts of this event is expected to be the Pittsburgh Cookie table, which will be selling tasty treats. Local vendors will also be selling their latest merchandise or promoting their services. It should be a fun event for all and a great way to raise funds for a worthwhile organization.

Sponsorships are also available to local businesses and individuals.

The Chris4Life Colon Cancer Foundation has raised more than $75,000 in the past three years. Funds raised go to support the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute and the UPMC Cancer Center.

Pittsburgh printing companies are often asked to provide flyers and invitations for events such as this luncheon. Such items help to spread the word about charity fundraisers for very little cost to the organizations that might need them.

Cookies 4 Chris is being held at the South Hills Country Club on March 2 from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm. Tickets are $35 each. To find out more information about this fundraising event, contact Maretta Barrett at 412-885-2374.
