Fundraiser benefits youth at risk

The 6th annual Picture This! fundraiser is taking place next month in Pittsburgh, raising funds for Ward Home.

The emcee for the event will be Andrew Stockey of WTAE. Guests will have the opportunity to purchase art produced by local teens connected to Ward Home. They can also take part in a collaborative art project as well as help with a glass mosaic.

There is also set to be a silent auction, a caricature artist, and lots of food and drink to enjoy. Musical entertainment will be provided by artists Jessica Lee, Mark Strickland, and George Jones. Guests will also be asked to participate in a toast to celebrate Ward Home.

Ward Home is a Pittsburgh organization dedicated to finding a safe haven for teens and young adults. It provides services to and programs for at-risk teens and foster children.

Invitations have been printed for this fundraiser, no doubt provided by a Pittsburgh stationery printing company. They have likely been mailed out to people who have worked with the organization in the past. Those interested can also register at Eventbrite.

Picture This! will be held at the August Wilson Center on April 1 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. Tickets are $100 until Saturday, March 25 and $125 after. To learn more about this event or about Ward Home, contact Corie Turner at 412-722-1404 x236.
