Find out about new investment in Philadelphia

The Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce is presenting an International Business Networking Reception which will take place at the Hub Cira Centre on July 16 from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm. Tickets are $50 for Chamber members and $55 for non-members.

The guest of honor at the reception will be Mayor Michael Nutter, who will be discussing the city’s plans to draw foreign direct investments and to increase international commercial trade. The Mayor has said it is a priority to encourage new business investment in Philadelphia and to make the city even more accepting of foreign investment.

This will also be an excellent networking opportunity for business leaders who share the same belief of encouraging foreign investment in their companies. There will be plenty of time during the evening for Philadelphia business peers to discuss their companies and to exchange a business card. Printing extras, with the help of a printing company, before attending will ensure that there are enough to hand out to everyone who wants one. It is important to take advantage of every networking opportunity and to be prepared for any possibility.

Those business leaders who plan to constantly grow their companies realize that one of the best ways to accomplish that is through foreign investment, which will probably result in worldwide exposure and can only earn more money for their company. Hearing the mayor’s ideas on this important topic will have many business leaders thinking of ways to seek foreign investment themselves or pondering on how they can be part of the government’s plans in encouraging new investment.
