Two July Pittsburgh shows to appeal to different tastes

There are several shows and festivals taking place in and around Pittsburgh this summer, most over which have something to offer to those of every taste and interest. Two such events will be the Artful Garden Craft Show and Pittsburgh Cycle Fest.

The former will take place for three weeks this summer. It will feature hand-crafted and original items for sale, such as paintings, jewelry, and ceramics. It will be a good place to pick up a unique gift for someone and to discover the many talented artisans who are currently working in the area.

Pittsburgh Cycle Fest, meanwhile, is a motorcycle trade show that takes place annually on the third weekend of July. It will be a showcase for motorcycle dealers and those who sell accessories. There will also be a motorcycle stunt show, dance performances, musical acts, and food for purchase.

Both of these events cater to people with completely different interests, but both will probably attract people from all over the area, including nearby North Versailles. Local print companies have likely provided the organizers with items such as flyers or posters to help market them in the community.

The Artful Garden Craft Show will take place at the North Hills Art Center from July 27 – August 7, Monday through Saturday. For more information, call 412-364-3622.

Pittsburgh Cycle Fest will take place at Heinz Field from over the July 20-21 weekend, and is free to attend. To learn more about the event, contact Jamar White at 412-292-1087.
