Story of Miss America set to inspire

September 28, 2012 by

An Evening of Celebration and Inspiration will take place at the Rivers Club in Pittsburgh next week, with proceeds from the event, going towards Dress for Success Pittsburgh.

Laura Kaeppeler, Miss America 2012, will be talking about the struggles that she has gone through in her life. Her story will serve as an inspiration those present, to help them to have the courage to overcome whatever difficulties they have to face in life and help them to become economically independent. Those who attend the VIP reception will get the chance to talk with Miss America in person and have their photos taken with her.

Sponsorships are also available for this event and can buy tickets for clients of ‘Dress for Success’ so they can attend. Women and men from all over the area, including nearby North Versailles, will no doubt be interested in attending this exciting event. Perhaps local printing companies will be helping the organizers of the event get the word out by providing such services as flyer printing.

Dress for Success is an organization that provides help to low-income unemployed or underemployed women. The organization provides clothing suitable for work and job interviews, offering guidance and training in the career center, provides mentoring by successful businesswomen.

Dress for Success also runs the Professional Women’s Group program so that women who find work still have access to help and can network with one another. Taking place on October 4 from 4:30 pm – 8:30 pm, tickets are priced at $100 each and $1,000 for a table of 10, while tickets which include a private VIP reception with Miss America are $250.
