Pittsburgh to find the connections
August 25, 2012 by James
The Business Connections Expo of the Pittsburgh Airport Area Chamber of Commerce will draw an end to September at the Double Tree by Hilton Greentree. Tickets are $5 for members and $10 for those without membership, with chamber members able to receive access to an early-bird showcase taking place from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm and the expo for $15.
This is a business-to-business expo which will allow local business owners to showcase their products and services to their business peers, allowing other business owners to learn what these products and services can do for their business. It may be an especially good opportunity for those companies that are either just starting out or have recently moved to the area, giving them a chance to introduce themselves to the local business community in a relaxed atmosphere. Sponsorships are also available.
The organizers have stressed that networking is very much the aim of the event and, since the expo potentially offers an excellent networking opportunity for business leaders from all over the area, including nearby North Versailles, attending entrepreneurs might wish to arrange for business card printing before the event so they have enough to give to everyone who is interested. As well as helping to ensure they have enough to distribute, a new order is also necessary to ensure that the cards are current, up-to-date and in perfect condition, helping them to make the best impression possible.
The expo is set to be held on September 27 from 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm.
