Pittsburgh Marathon weekend to feature health and fitness expo

The Health and Fitness Expo will be taking place this coming weekend in the build-up to the Pittsburgh Marathon.

The expo is expected to attract a lot of people, both those taking part in the marathon and those who will come to watch it. Those running in the Pittsburgh Marathon will be able to pick up their race packages and attend clinics at the expo. There will also be vendors, information booths, entertainment, and health and wellness demonstrations. Runner Michael Wardian will try to break the world record for a half marathon on the treadmill.

Visitors and vendors will probably be attending the expo from all over the area, including nearby North Versailles. Both vendors and event organizers are likely to be investing in such services as sign and banner printing to get ready. A colorful banner can draw the eye to a certain area or can be used to recognize sponsors of an event. Stationery printers, meanwhile, can help vendors provide branded merchandise in time for the event.

The expo is only one of several different events taking place leading up to the Pittsburgh Marathon. There will also be a half marathon, a relay marathon, a 5K, a kids’ marathon, and a pet walk. All in all, there looks to be plenty to reinforce the importance of keeping fit and healthy.

The Health and Fitness Expo will take place at the David L. Lawrence Convention Centre from May 3 – 4. Admission is free.
