Picnic to take place the traditional way

The first annual ‘Old Fashioned’ Picnic Day will take place at the Pitcairn-Monroeville Sportsmen’s Club on August 12 from 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Guests are asked to bring their own chairs, blankets, and anything else they need to set up their picnic. Those who plan to attend should book in advance.

Naturally, there will be lots of food for everyone to enjoy. There will also be games, prizes, the music of Dallas Marks, and a fireworks display to enjoy. It promises to be a great way to get to know your neighbors and a great day out for the entire family.

It is very likely that North Versailles printing companies have helped to create the flyer that has been distributed advertising this fun upcoming community event. Flyers are often used to promote events like this as they are inexpensive, especially if bought in bulk. They can be distributed in various ways including door-to-door delivery, mail delivery, and just being handed out on a street corner. Since this is the first year this event has been held, there may be many people who are not aware that the picnic is taking place, making promotion especially important.

With many people working long hours and having precious little time to socialize, not everyone finds time to get to know their neighbors. Taking time out to attend a picnic, enjoy some music, and watch some fireworks together might go a long way in building community amongst neighbors and offer a fun way to spend a summer’s evening with the family.
