The Monroeville Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the Celebrate Monroeville event next month.
One part of the event will consist of The Taste of Monroeville, which will give local restaurants and caterers a chance to provide samples of their food to the general public. There will also be live entertainment, arts and crafts activities, costumed characters, and mascots.
The main part of the evening will be Marketplace Monroeville where over 250 local businesses will showcase and sell their products and services. Exhibitors can rent a 10×10 foot booth for $200 for chamber members or $320 for non-members, and a 10×20 foot booth for $300 for members or $435 for non-members. Those taking part in the Taste of Monroeville will receive booth space for free, other than a $50 deposit, but they must provide food samples for 500 people. Booths must be reserved before tomorrow, August 30.
This event usually attracts approximately 3,000 visitors from all over the area, including North Versailles. It is likely that local printing companies will be helping to design and provide the program guide that will probably be distributed throughout the Monroeville area.
Celebrate Monroeville will take place at the Monroeville Convention Center on September 19 from 4:00 pm – 8:30 pm. Admission is $10 for adults and $7 for seniors and students, while those who bring a non-perishable food item will receive an extra taste ticket.
