Learn about healthy eating at the Farm to Table Conference
February 26, 2012 by James
The 6th annual Farm to Table conference will take place at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh from March 23-24. Tickets are $15 for one day, $25 for both days, $10 for the networking breakfast, $25 for a local food tasting, $38 for one day and the food tasting and $55 for both days and the food tasting; children 12 and under can attend the conference for free.
The conference will feature a farmers market, health and wellness vendors, hands-on cooking demonstrations, kid’s activities and speeches from health, farming and wellness experts. Topics discussed will include the quality of drinking water in Western Pennsylvania, humane farm animal care and the benefits of cod liver oil. Basically, anything between farm and table will be discussed or exhibited at the conference.
Local companies in related industries from as far away as North Versailles will most likely want to take part in this conference. These companies would be wise to arrange in advance with a local flyer printing company to provide them with literature that guests of the conference can take home with them. People at conferences like to receive anything free and they will take it home and most likely read it later, or pass it onto an interested party. Those attending will be interested in health and wellness and will be glad to know that your company can supply them with the products and services that they are looking for.
