Food truck festival set to roll into North Versailles area

November 30, 2016 by

Trucks from all across the state will be coming to the North Versailles area to show off their cooking talents early in the New Year.

The Monroeville Convention Center will serve as the site for the first ever winter indoor food truck festival. There will be over 20 different vendors from all over Pennsylvania congregating in the center, together with live music, a pop-up craft market to browse through, a Kids Zone, and a beer garden. The public is invited to vote for their favorite food served during the event. A printer can work with the organizers of an event such as this to produce customized banners, signage, and other decorations that can help to make it a success.

This comes as a follow-up to the extremely successful spring Food Truckapaloza, which saw more than 2,000 members of the public come out to try some of the mobile food vendors’ offerings. Proceeds from the day will be donated to the Monroeville Fire Department to help it keep the community safe.

The festival will take place on January 7, and will run from 1:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the Monroeville Convention Center, which is located at 209 Mall Plaza Boulevard. Tickets for the day are $10 each, and more details and an opportunity to purchase them can be found on the event’s website.
