Bucks County events celebrate the holidays

November 30, 2016 by

There are a couple of upcoming events taking place in Bucks County that help to get people in a holiday mood.

The 11th annual Bucks County Holiday Tree Fest opened this week and will be running until next January. A group of 25 local organizations has decorated Christmas trees and the public will get to vote for their favorite. Those participating this year include Acting Naturally, Washington Crossing Historic Park and Bucks Beautiful. There will also be live entertainment from groups such as the Bucks County Women’s Chorus and the Youth Orchestra of Bucks County. In addition, Santa Sundays will be occurring until December 11, during which Santa will be posing for pictures with people and their pets.

The 9th annual Charles Dickens Night will be held next month. It is presented by the Langhorne Borough Business Association. There will be bonfires, shopping opportunities, musical entertainment, and family activities. Santa will light the Christmas tree at 7:30 PM.

It is likely that families from around the area, including those from Morrisville, will be interested in learning about both of these events. Flyers and brochures may be distributed to help spread the word.

The Bucks County Holiday Tree Fest will be held at the Bucks County Visitor Center in Bensalem until January 5.

Charles Dickens Night is set to take place on December 2 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
