A peach of a celebration on its way

July 16, 2013 by

The annual Peach Festival and Sidewalk Sale are taking place in Lahaska for two days this August.

The festival will feature a wide variety of peach treats, such as pies, cakes, and fresh fruit to eat. There will also be musical performances from bands such as the Mango Men Band, children’s activities like face painting and balloon animals, and lots of special events and sales at local stores. Visitors will also be able to get some deals from some of the shops

While they are visiting Lahaska, guests can also take a short trip over the New Jersey border to visit the Sergeantsville Farmers Market. The market features locally-grown produce, homemade food items, musical entertainment, and arts and crafts vendors. It takes place every Saturday from 8:30 am – 12:00 pm across from the Delaware Township Building. For more information, call 908-268-3641.

It seems likely that many of those from nearby Morrisville will want to visit one or both of these events. Local printing companies are probably helping the organizers of each of them get the word out through services such as brochure and flyer printing. The stores themselves might also invest in posters and banners to help highlight any special sales or discounts that they are offering.

The Peach Festival and Sidewalk Sale will take place at Peddler’s Village in Lahaska on August 10 and 11 from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm each day. Admission is free. Call 215-794-4000 for information about this annual event.
