Media set to be a shopper’s paradise in September

The bargain-hunting residents of Media are gearing up for a month of retail therapy with two special events taking place in September.

The first event, Great Media Garage Sale Days, is set to take place over two days and will feature a host of vendors offering pre-owned items. Garage sales are hugely popular across the country because of the range of unique items on offer at great prices, and this will be no exception.

Later in the month, the people of Media will have the chance to buy a range of homemade ornaments and relics when the 11th annual CAC Fine Arts and Crafts Festival takes over State Street.

The participating artists, who have all been selected by a jury process, will be offering a wide variety of crafts, including paintings, jewelry, and ceramics. The event also features demonstrations, children’s activities, and a raffle. Music this year will be provided by the Katari Duo and the Dave Manley Trio.

The organizers of both events will likely be investing in such services as banner and sign printing from one of the area’s reputable printing companies. Eye-catching posters are often used to attract further attention to such occasions.

The Great Media Garage Sale Days will run from September 7-8, with gates open from 9:00am-4:00pm on both days. Participation is free.
The CAC Fine Arts and Crafts Festival will take place on September 28 from 10:00am – 5:00pm. Admission is also free. For more information, about either event call 610-566-5039.
