Enjoy a family New Year’s Eve celebration

December 21, 2012 by

Believe it or not, another New Year’s Eve is almost here. Luckily for Media families, local event organizers have not forgotten that New Year should be a family occasion. There will be two events taking place on the night that will be suitable for the entire family.

The New Year’s Eve Bash will take place on December 31 at the Front Street Fountain from 4:00 pm- 7:00 pm. There will be a buffet dinner, an ice-cream sundae bar that will allow people to create their own sundaes, a DJ, and an apple juice toast at 6:00 pm. It sounds like a great way for the family to celebrate New Year’s Eve together. Tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for kids.

The celebrations will continue later that night with the New Year’s Eve Community Celebration and Ball Drop. It will take place at State and Jackson Streets at midnight. This is a free celebration. If the kids can stay up that late, the entire family can countdown together. This event is sponsored by the Media Business Authority. Call 610-566-5039 to find out more.

It is very likely that organizers of both events have been working closely with Media printing companies to let the public know that they are coming up. Flyer printing services would create a flyer that could be distributed throughout the community and surrounding communities. These flyers could be distributed by direct mail, as newspaper inserts, or posted at public buildings such as the library or community centers.
