Annual Roots Ramble is returning to Media

March 18, 2014 by

The 12th annual Americana Roots Ramble is taking place in downtown Media next month. It is part of the American Music Festival Series, which consists of three events held during the year, and has been chosen as a WXPN 88.5 member event. Proceeds from this event go to support several local charities.

The Roots Ramble will bring some of the best performers currently working in Rockabilly, Rhythm and Blues, Folk, and Zydeco to the city. Performances will take place in 16 different restaurant and pubs in the city. Some of those scheduled to appear this year include April Mae and the June Bugs, Michael Braunfeld, and Charlie Grace. Tickets are sold separately and guests are advised to also make reservations at their chosen venue.

This event is one of the most popular in Media and brings together music lovers from all over the area. Local printing companies held to advertise events like this by producing items like flyers or banners for organizers. Flyers can be posted all over the city while banners can be displayed at prominent corners or locations.

The Americana Roots Ramble will be held in Media on April 12 from 6:00 pm to 1:00 am. Tickets are $15 each or $12 for members of WXPN. For more information about the performers or the venues, call 610-566-5039.
